- The MicroFox Baseball Statistics program will keep track of information
- for Leagues, Teams, Players, Hitting, Pitching, Running, Fielding, and
- Scheduling. The schedule tracks games, fields, and umpires. You will be
- able to keep notes (up to 32K) on leagues, teams, games, fields, umpires,
- and players.
-
- if you downloaded or were given a zipped file (MBSnnn.ZIP), you must first
- unzip the file with PKUNZIP (or another unzip utility) before installing.
-
- To install this Baseball Statistics program, run INSTALL.EXE while in
- Windows. It will create a windows program group (if you allow it to) that
- will contain an Uninstall Icon (besides the normal program icons) so that
- you can remove the program completely from Windows if you decide not to
- use it.
-
- This program can be used by the smallest little leagues all the way up
- to major league baseball. The first time you start the program, all the
- fields will be blank (unless a sample data file is included). First choose
- the Year button to specify what year you want to start with. Next select
- the League button to enter the league name(s), then use Team button for
- each league to set up team numbers and names. Finally, select the Player
- button to add players to the teams.
-
- The tabs at the bottom of the program window allow you to select Teams
- (where the team standings are displayed), Players, Hitting, Pitching,
- Fielding (where player statistics are displayed), Custom (choose the
- statistics you want to see for players), and Schedule (for scheduling
- games, fields, and umpires).
-
- The Update button allows you to enter or add to the data fields for teams
- and players. The Sort button allows you to sort players by different data
- fields. There is a separate sort for offensive, defensive, and pitching
- catagories. Teams can't be sorted since they are displayed in standings
- format (win-lost record and games behind). The Notes button allows you to
- enter notes for teams and players. You may use this for player addresses,
- phone numbers, etc. The Font button allows you to change the color, size,
- and type of font used. The Print button prints the current screen or notes.
- The Help button displays an About Box and/or a full help system. The Exit
- button quits the program.
